Invictus Launch

Triple S Communications Launches Invictus Games Racing.

Triple S Communications today launched Invictus Games Racing to the world’s media from the Autosport International Car Show at Birmingham’s NEC Arena.

The agency won the PR contract with Holder Racing Limited in 2017 and has been working behind closed doors – until launch – to ensure that the cars and drivers were unveiled for the first time to global media.

Invictus Games Racing is a collaboration between James Holder, Co-Founder of the iconic clothing brand Superdry, and the Invictus Games Foundation. Holder Racing commissioned Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations division to develop and build bespoke F-TYPE SVR racing cars to GT4 specification for a select group of wounded, injured and sick British Armed Forces veterans. They will compete in the 2018-19 British GT Championships as part of a new motor racing team in specially-designed Jaguar sports cars.

The multi-platform media campaign designed by Triple S Communications involved stakeholders including Holder Racing Limited, Jaguar Land Rover, Invictus Games Racing, Mission Motorsport and David Appleby Engineering. The sports and entertainment agency arranged for Sky Sports F1 Presenter Natalie Pinkham to host the launch.

Triple S Communications Managing Director Mark Whittle said: “Working with James Holder on this incredible project is a humbling experience. Invictus Games Racing are at the start of a three-year mission to enable, empower and inspire members of the Armed Forces. Additionally, we’re enjoying working with all the incredible project partners to ensure that all their messages resonate with mainstream media as well as the motoring fraternity.”
